KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 18 ? The Selangor MCA will build more Chinese schools if Barisan Nasional (BN) regains the state at the 13th general election, the party?s state chairman Senator Datuk Donald Lim Siang Chai said today.?We?ll help the state government approve more land for Chinese schools, particularly in predominantly Chinese areas in Selangor,? he said during the Selangor MCA Convention at Wisma MCA, here today.
The finance deputy minister also announced that on August 14 the federal government had started distributing the RM5.28 million allocation, under the 2012 budget, to 31 Chinese vernacular schools throughout Selangor.
Lim also said the BN government would make efforts to build more affordable homes for the people of Selangor and resolve their water woes.
