Picasso?s three musicians by Joseph Parish I have chosen one of my favorite paintings made by none other than Pablo Picasso who talked about in this article. The painting is ?Three Musicians ?. Before engaging into analysts actually this artwork, I would like to say a few words with regard to copies which I completed in 1980 . At the time I lived in Zaragoza Spain and usually our efforts to a particular restaurant in the city during the afternoon hours. In this particular location is the owner and his wife took a strong liking to the eldest child of mine and she is treated as if he is a member of the family every time we go to the establishment. He was allowed in the kitchen, they gave him a chef?s hat and she could appear as sit down and bang on the piano keys. These people think nothing of all this, but as a parent is responsible for my wife and I do not agree with this behavior and stop in the bud. To show my appreciation to the owner of the restaurant, I made a duplicate of the ?Three Musicians ? and as I understand it, to this day that the painting still hangs on the wall above the piano. Simply talking at the moment about my painting let?s progress now to master and the real painting. When we first see Picasso?s painting we appear to be attracted to bright colors also to geometric shapes. One of the unique concepts that are related to this painting is a limited amount of circular shapes that are included in it. The form that creates a work is generally in addition to the round. We see three stages-centered musicians together with their related instruments. Three players who featured in a painting of Pierrot, Harlequin is also a monk. Picasso makes good use of the Harlequins in his paintings. Review of her work during this time period would show some painting with primary topics relating to Harlequins. Allegedly, the legendary musician being some close friend Pablo ? s, Mr Guillaume Apollinaire and Mr. Max Jacob. Third, famous as Picasso himself. Two friends who are close associates of both Picasso and poets practicing. It is estimated that the artist creates an image with a different intent to portray friends from a desire to honor their friendship. Apollinaire died before the completion of the painting while Jacob then joined a monastery. We can easily make out who?s who in the painting as we see the monks the right of holding what appears to be some sheet music and next to it we have a harlequin with guitar. To the left side we are shown his clarinet with Pierrot. Behind the players we can see the dog lying on the floor. This may seem odd to most Westerners, but it is not uncommon for Spain restaurants and bars to have pets that wander around. To start our analysis of works of art Picasso ?s we must first believe synthetic Cubism what it really is. In short, it is a form of painting which is a product of the texture. Unlike early Cubism tradition we now face the flat and over environmental type of collage canvas. In fact, the process was actually the initial stages of the admission of artistic collage materials as materials for the serious work of art. Lines in the painting are mostly straight and uniform in appearance. The colors used bright and sharply focused. There is a lack of effective shading of any kind which is indicative of synthetic Cubism. Hot primary color is most pure and eliminates saturation mixing and producing artists task shades and shadows. The details provided are not so much by shading process but with the addition of more clear lines in the monk?s beard and harlequin. To provide us with the visual sensation of depth floor appear further back on one side of the painting on the other. This is the reality of Spain when I lived there like rooms never really square. As stated above I firmly believe this painting to be a tribute to friends and as a great artist has achieved its purpose. In this painting he has shown how he and friends before enjoying life as they joyfully created excitement and has a high spirits in all their efforts.
