Public Budgeting and Finance
The Department of Public Administration & Policy in the University of Georgia?s School of Public and International Affairs invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level. The starting date is August 2013. We are seeking a scholar specializing in public budgeting and finance who is dedicated to research, teaching, and student mentorship and will contribute to the current strengths in our MPA and Ph.D. programs. This position requires a teaching and research focus within any of the following areas: public budgeting, financial management/administration, and public finance. Applicants should have obtained a PhD in public administration or a related field by August 2013. Applications should include a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendation, graduate transcripts, a representative recent publication or working paper and, if available, teaching evaluations.
