Almost 400 activists gathered at the property in Putney, South West London.
Lib Dem leader Mr Clegg was not at his family home as the rally ? organised by UK Uncut ? featured street music, comedy acts and speeches.
One of the group?s supporters, Jean Sandler, 42, said: ?Nick Clegg is one of the architects of austerity ? he?s a millionaire.
?The cuts are a political choice of this Government and the Cabinet of out-of-touch millionaires.?
About 40 protesters also targeted Mr Clegg?s Sheffield constituency office, serving cake and hanging bunting. Last night MPs spoke out in support of Mr Clegg.
Target ... Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg
Tory Louise Mensch accused the protesters of ?intolerable bullying?. She asked people to donate ?5 to the Lib Dems to show UK Uncut what they think of Mr Clegg?s home and family being targeted.
MP Therese Coffey, also a Tory, called the street parties ?terrible?.
A spokesman for the Deputy PM said: ?People have a right to peaceful protest.?
