I was totally fascinated by real estate video, so last spring I started doing something crazy. I started searching Google and YouTube for things like ?Austin real estate,? ?Des Moines homes for sale? and ?Seattle Realtor? just to see what other REALTORS? were doing in their real estate videos.

I discovered some great real estate videos and to ?save? them, I created a YouTube channel called ?Carnival of Real Estate Video.?

I grouped my favorite real estate videos into ?playlists? such as ?Client Testimonials? and ?Home Tours.? Now if you want to get some new ideas for your next home tour video, you can just check out the ?Home Tours? playlist to see what other REALTORS??are doing.

It wasn?t long before I started making my own little video episodes reviewing cool real estate videos. (You can subscribe to get future episodes at the ?Carnival of Real Estate Video? YouTube channel.)

Most Popular Types of Real Estate Videos

  • Agent Profiles
I think some day most agents? websites will have a video profile of the agent near the top. These videos have a long shelf life, so agents can justify spending more money, like hiring a professional interviewer as seen in this Atlanta REALTOR??profile.
  • Agent Tips
Here?s a great example of an agent real estate tip from a Pinellas County REALTOR?. Notice how natural and authentic she is on camera. Or you can make it entertaining like this Gilbert, AZ REALTOR?.
  • Brokerage Recruiting
Here?s a gorgeous and effective recruiting video. But brokerages don?t have to be that fancy to make an effective video.
  • Client Testimonials
Client testimonials are a super compelling way to establish trust. They don?t get better than this one (over 4,000 views) for a Toronto REALTOR?.
  • Community Profiles
Here?s a nice example of a video tour by a New Hampshire agent. And here?s the most unique community profile I?ve ever seen.
  • Home Tours
A huge number of home tour videos online are just ?videos? of the listing photos with no voice-over. Many have zero views. Nevertheless, home tour videos are where the action is in real estate video innovation. Notice how these videos make both the house AND the agent look great!

-?Chicago REALTOR?
-?Green Bay REALTOR??(agent-made video!)
-?Providence, Rhode Island REALTOR?

  • Market Updates
Real estate data has always been my shtick and it turns out that market update videos tend to rank unusually well in Google. Search ?Phoenix real estate market? and you?ll often find a Realtor video in the top 10 results.

-?Vancouver Real Estate Update

Remember, whenever you see a real estate video you like, it helps the agent if you subscribe, comment, like, favorite or share the video. Show your appreciation!
